The measurement of land described in a deed as beginning a certain distance from a house is to be made from the side of the house, and not from the edge of the eaves. An owner of land who saws off the posts of a fence built thereon by a trespasser is not liable for the damage so done, if that method of removing the fence is reasonably necessary to prevent a repetition of the trespass.
