JOSEPH FRIEDLANDER, complainant-appellant, v. LOUIS GRAND,defendant-respondent.

Where a tenant is wrongfully evicted by his landlord, his remedy lies at law in an action for damages or ejectment. But he may seek an injunction in equity against interference with his possession by the landlord if the circumstances of the case disclose that the relief at law is inadequate and the injury will be irreparable. Complainant does not disclose such circumstances in this case.

PER CURIAM.

The order appealed from will be affirmed, with costs, for the reasons expressed in the opinion delivered by Vice-Chancellor Bigelow in the court of chancery.

For affirmance — THE CHIEF-JUSTICE, TRENCHARD, PARKER, LLOYD, CASE, BODINE, DONGES, HEHER, PERSKIE, VAN BUSKIRK, KAYS, HETFIELD, DEAR, WELLS, JJ. 14.

For reversal — None.
