(Syllabus.)
1. Rape — Conviction on Uncorroborated Testimony of Prosecutrix. This court has many times held that there is no rule of law which forbids a jury to convict for the crime of rape upon the uncorroborated testimony of the prosecutrix, provided they are satisfied beyond a reasonable doubt of the truth of her testimony. But we have also held that a conviction will not be arbitrarily sustained upon such evidence, and especially where her evidence is conflicting, unreasonable, or where she is contradicted by disinterested witnesses upon material statements.
2. Same — Conviction for First-Degree Rape Sustained. In the case at bar evidence examined, and found sufficient to sustain the verdict of the jury.
