RELIGIOUS SOCIETIES, § 9.1 — reduction of pastor's salary by agreement. In suit by assignee of pastor of church to recover balance of pastor's salary due under terms of contract but remaining unpaid from 1933 to 1940, where it appeared that the 1933 financial condition of church was such that pastor as practical matter could not continue as pastor unless he agreed to take less salary and he agreed to do so, though he refused to permit any change in formal contract, held salary of pastor could be reduced by agreement of pastor and congregation and, since pastor accepted reduced salary for many months without objection, he could not be heard to later complain that he was entitled to more than he received.
