STREET RAILWAYS, § 131 — when verdict for damages for death of pedestrian is not against manifest weight of evidence. In action for damages for death of 58 year old woman pedestrian, who was fatally injured when, on night on which it had been raining, she was struck, at street crossing, by defendants' streetcar, held that, under evidence, questions of negligence on part of defendants and of due care on part of deceased were questions for jury, and that its verdict for plaintiff, approved by trial court, was not against manifest weight of evidence.
