1. Habeas Corpus — Writ Cannot Perform Office of Writ of Error on Appeal. The writ of habeas corpus cannot be used to perform the office of a writ of error on appeal, but is limited to cases in which the judgment and sentence of the court is clearly void.
2. Arraignment and Pleas — Mode of Objection That No Verified Complaint Was Filed Against Him in Justice Court. Where a defendant voluntarily enters a plea to the information without filing a motion to quash, and goes to trial, he will be deemed to have waived any right he may have had to question the fact that a verified complaint had not been filed against him in the justice court, and that no copy of the complaint had been filed in the district court.
3. Indictment and Information — Verification of Information for Felony not Required. It is not required that informations charging the defendant with a felony in the district court be verified, but they should be signed by the county attorney.
