Mrs. S. Raymer, Appellee, v. Liberty National Bank, Trustee et al., Defendants. Leon Siglin and I. Brandzel, Appellants.

LANDLORD AND TENANT, § 125 — liability for injuries to tenant in basement. Landlords were not liable for injuries sustained by tenant in basement of apartment building, used in common by tenants, while pulling her washing machine down three foot passageway when machine tilted, throwing her to floor, as result of continuing to pull machine after it had come in contact with post or riser, even though tenant chose that route because 10 foot passageway used on previous occasions was blocked by bicycle owned by landlord's daughter which was chained to post in such manner, without knowledge or consent of landlords, that it practically touched landlord's gasoline-station fixture, since there was no evidence that landlords were negligent, or that obstructing position of bicycle was proximate cause of tenant's injuries.
