Corporations — Non-profit — Volunteer fire companies — Incorporation — Similarity of names — Existing fire company — Act of May 5, 1933, P. L. 289.
In a proceeding upon an application for a charter for a volunteer fire company, in which it appeared that an existing volunteer fire department in the city objected on the grounds that the proposed name of the applicant was deceptively similar to its own and the mind of the public would be confused by the two corporations, and that an additional fire company would cause great confusion in fighting fires; and in which it further appeared that the city council had filed no objections; it was Held that the application conformed to the Act of May 5, 1933, P. L. 289, and that the objections should be dismissed.

PER CURIAM, April 14, 1947:
