Appeal from orders denying petitioner's application to be reinstated under Civil Service Rules as dentist at the Woodbourne Institution for Defective Delinquents. Petitioner resigned and now seeks a redesignation under rule XVI of the Rules for Classified Civil Service. A reappointment is not mandatory. ( Doering v. Hinrichs, 289 N.Y. 29).
