Margaret Williams, Appellee, v. Victor A. Piontkowski and Charles M. Fox, Defendants. Appeal of Victor A. Piontkowski, Appellant.

MEDICINE AND SURGERY, § 9 — liability of chiropractor for negligence. As respects liability for negligence in prenatal, delivery and postnatal care, a chiropractor licensed to practice obstetrics but not to practice medicine and who misled patient into believing that he was a regularly licensed medical practitioner would be held, as matter of law, to bear same responsibility as would a regularly licensed medical practitioner, and chiropractor's liability for negligence was not affected by temporary entrance of a physician into the case for purpose of delivering patient's stillborn child in emergency, where patient had placed herself under chiropractor's care and had never consulted physician.
