ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE
The Division of Ethics and Professional Services of the Administrative Office of the Courts having petitioned the Supreme Court of New Jersey for an Order temporarily suspending HOWARD M. STROGER of Morristown from the practice of law pursuant to R. 1:20-3(i) and R. 1:20-4(b), for appropriate protective action on said attorney's files, records and practice pursuant to R. 1:20-5(b) and for restraints on the disbursal of funds from all bank accounts maintained pursuant to R. 1:21-6 and good cause appearing:
It is ORDERED that HOWARD M. STROGER is temporarily suspended from the practice of law, effective immediately and until further order of the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that the Division of Ethics and Professional Services take appropriate action to gain possession and control of the legal files and records of HOWARD M. STROGER wherever situate pursuant to R. 1:20-5(b); and it is further
ORDERED that all funds presently existing in any New Jersey banking institution including but not limited to the Heritage Bank North, South Street, Morristown, trustee account # 00350966 and First National State Bank, Main Street, Mendham, N.J., business account # 6380008091 maintained by HOWARD M. STROGER, pursuant to R. 1:21-6, relating to his law practice shall not be disbursed except upon application to this Court, for good cause shown, pending the further Order of the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that HOWARD M. STROGER show cause before this Court on Tuesday, May 6, 1980 at 10:00 a.m., at the Supreme Court Courtroom, State House Annex, Fourth Floor, Trenton, New Jersey, why the suspension and restraints herein should not continue pending final disposition of any complaints now pending against him before the District X Ethics Committee and any complaint arising out of the conduct alleged in the Petition of the Division of Ethics and Professional Services filed in this matter and until further order of the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that Colette A. Coolbaugh or her designee present this matter to the Court; and it is further
ORDERED that HOWARD M. STROGER is hereby restrained and enjoined from practicing law during the period of his suspension; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent comply with all the regulations of the Disciplinary Review Board governing suspended, disbarred or resigned attorneys; and it is further
ORDERED that service of this Order to Show Cause be made upon respondent at his office address, 14 Prospect Street, Morristown, New Jersey 07960.
