WILLIAM EK, aka Eugene William Ek, aka Eugene Ek, aka Bill Ek, Plaintiff vs. STEVEN EUGENE BOGGS, Defendant/Crossclaimant-Appellee/Cross-Appellant and SANDY BOGGS, aka Sandy Burgard, aka Sandy Byrnes, aka Sandy Diane Boggs, aka Sandy Ek, aka Frances Byrnes, aka Julie Kahn, aka Juliette Kahn, Defendant/Crossclaim Defendant-Appellant/Cross-Appellee and DOE DEFENDANTS 1-100, Defendants.

ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

Upon review of the record, it appears that: (1) the October 16, 2000 judgment, which purports to be the final judgment on the counterclaims and cross-claims filed in Civil No. 98-2468, does not identify the claims for which the judgment is entered; see Jenkins v. Cades Schutte Fleming Wright, 76 Haw. 115, 119, 869 P.2d 1334, 1338-39 (1994) (In a multiple claim or multiple party circuit court case, a judgment that purports to be the final judgment must identify the claims for which the judgment is entered.); and thus, (2) this appeal is premature and we lack jurisdiction. Therefore,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this appeal and cross-appeal are dismissed for lack of appellate jurisdiction.
