THOMAS A. JOHNSON, complainant-appellant, v. GEORGE JUPILAT,defendant-respondent.

Neither P.L. 1927 p. 128, "An act relative to curtesy," nor its amendment, P.L. 1928 p. 380, repealed P.L. 1926 p. 77, "An act directing the descent of real estate." The 1927 act does not cover the whole subject-matter of the 1926 act, and in fact does not deal with the same subject, inasmuch as the 1926 act makes the husband the heir of his wife in certain circumstances while the 1927 act regulates and alters his estate by curtesy.

PER CURIAM.

The decree appealed from will be affirmed, for the reasons stated in the opinion delivered by Vice-Chancellor Bigelow in the court of chancery. For affirmance — THE CHIEF-JUSTICE, TRENCHARD, PARKER, CASE, BODINE, DONGES, HEHER, PERSKIE, VAN BUSKIRK, KAYS, HETFIELD, DEAR, WELLS, DILL, JJ. 14.

For reversal — None.
