UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, v. ZACARIAS MOUSSAOUI a/k/a "Shaqil," a/k/a "Abu Khalid al Sahrawi," Defendant.

ORDER

LEONIE M. BRINKEMA, United States District Judge

Pursuant to our Order of September 27, 2002, the United States has advised the Court of its proposed redactions to the defendant's pro se motion docketed as #762. Finding that most, but not all, of the proposed redactions strike the proper balance between the public's right to access records in criminal cases and the United States' legitimate concerns about the defendant's ability to use his pleadings inappropriately to communicate with the outside world, it is hereby

ORDERED that the defendant's pro se pleading docketed as #762 be and is unsealed with the indicated redactions. The Clerk is directed to forward copies of this Order to the defendant, pro se; counsel for the United States; and standby defense counsel.
