UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Plaintiff, v. ZACARIAS MOUSSAOUI, a/k/a "Shaqil," a/k/a "Abu Khalid al Sahrawi," Defendant.

ORDER

LEONIE BRINKEMA, District Judge

In his motion docketed as #952, the pro se defendant demands that standby counsel and/or the Government hand over any letters addressed to him from Richard Reid "since October 4, 2002." The Government contends that the motion is moot because Mr. Moussaoui has twice been provided with a copy of "the letter dated October 4, 2002." Because the Government's response is not entirely responsive to the defendant's request, it is hereby

ORDERED that the United States advise the Court by Monday, July 7, 2003 whether the Federal Bureau of Investigation has intercepted any communications from Richard Reid to the defendant since October 4, 2002.

The Clerk is directed to forward copies of this Order to the defendant, pro se; counsel for the United States; and standby defense counsel.
