IN THE MATTER OF THE TAX LIABILITIES OF: JOHN DOES, UNITED STATES TAXPAYERS, WHO DURING THE TAX YEARS 1999, 2000, and 2001 WERE FINAL RECIPIENTS OF INCOME ATTRIBUTABLE TO INTEREST EARNED ON BONDS THAT COMPRISE THE $18,800.00 TAX EXEMPT ADJUSTABLE MODE SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL REVENUE BONDS (POPE TALBOT WIS., IN., PROJECT)

ORDER

HOWARD SACHS, Senior District Judge

On the ex parte petition of the United States of America, for leave to serve John Doe summonses, with the declaration of IRS Revenue Agent, Thomas W. Behling, in support of the petition, this court has determined that: (1) the summonses relate to the investigation of an ascertainable group of person; (2) there is a reasonable basis for believing that this group of persons may have failed to comply with provisions of the internal revenue laws; and (3) the information sought to be obtained from the examination of the records and testimony (and the identity of the persons for whose tax liability the summonses relate) is not readily available from other sources. It is therefore

ORDERED that the Internal Revenue Service, through an authorized officer or agent, may serve the summonses on Scudder Tax Exempt Money Fund, KFS Tax Exempt Fund, Scudder YieldWise Municipal Money Fund, and Scudder Tax-Free Money Fund c/o Scudder

Investment Service Company, 811 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64105, attn: Bridget Weeks, Legal Dept. It is further

ORDERED that a copy of this order be served with those summonses.
