On January 4, 2006, by Administrative Order No. 2006-01, the Honorable Richard S. Fields was appointed to the Committee on Superior Court as the Pima County Associate Presiding Judge member. On June 8, 2009, the Honorable Michael J. Cruikshank was appointed to succeed Judge Fields as Associate Presiding Judge of the Superior Court in Pima County.
In accordance with Arizona Code of Judicial Administration § 1-105, the Chief Justice is responsible for appointing members of the Committee on Superior Court. Therefore, after due consideration,
IT IS ORDERED that the Honorable Michael J. Cruikshank, Associate Presiding Judge of the Superior Court in Pima County, is appointed, by virtue of his position, as a member of the Committee on Superior Court for a term beginning upon entry of this Order and ending upon completion of his term as Associate Presiding Judge.
