ELLA STOUT LYLES, Appellant, v. JAMES A. LYLES, Appellee.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM.

On May 2, 2006, we ordered the parties in this case to mediation. The mediation report was due by June 1, 2006. When we had not received the mediation report by August 2, 2006, we sent a letter directing the parties to notify us within ten days of the status of the appeal. We did not receive a response, and on August 25, 2006, we sent a second letter directing the parties to notify us of the status of the appeal. We warned appellant that if she failed to comply with our directives within the time allowed, the appeal was subject to dismissal without further notice. Nevertheless, to date, appellant has not filed a motion to dismiss, a motion to abate the appeal, or otherwise communicated with this Court regarding this appeal.

Accordingly, on the Court's own motion, we DISMISS the appeal. See Tex.R.App.P. 42.3(b), (c).
