The present revision petition has been filed by petitioner
Bhag Singh, who is landlord and has filed an ejectment petition against
his tenant Junaid Malik, which is pending before Sh. Puneet Mohinia,
Rent Controller, Chandigarh.
The grievance of the petitioner is that proceedings before the
Rent Controller are being conducted at a very slow pace. Of course,
expeditious trial is a right of every litigant. Therefore, the present
revision petition is disposed of with a direction to Sh. Puneet Mohinia,
Rent Controller, Chandigarh to decide the rent petition in question
expeditiously by giving short adjournments.
A copy of this order be sent to the said Rent Controller,
Chandigarh through District & Sessions Judge, Chandigarh.
