WPSS No. 3251 of 2017 Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. Mr. Bhuwnesh Joshi, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Anirudh Bhatt, Advocate for the respondent nos. 2 and 3. Petitioner was an employee of I.D.P.L., Rishikesh, who has approached this Court seeking the following reliefs:- “A. Issue a writ order, or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to provide to the petitioner benefits of 6th and 7th pay commission from the date due to the petitioner. B. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to provide promotion to the petitioner to the post of Senior Production (Executive) on 01.09.2018 which is due to the petitioner.” Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that after filing of the writ petition, petitioner retired from the post of Executive (Production) in the year 2018. Grievance raised by the petitioner is that he has not been given benefit of pay revision, pursuant to recommendation made by 6th and 7th Pay Commission. |

Mr. Anirudh Bhatt, Advocate for respondent nos. 2 and 3 points out that benefit of 6thand 7thPay Revision has not been given to any employee of I.D.P.L. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made representations from time to time, which have not been decided so far, therefore, the Competent Authority be asked to look into the representations and pass appropriate order.
Mr. Anirudh Bhatt, Advocate for respondent nos. 2 and 3 assures the Court that decision on petitioner's representation shall be taken expeditiously, if already not taken.
Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make fresh representation to respondent no.2. If petitioner makes such representation, respondent no.2 shall take decision thereupon as per law, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of representation with certified copy of this order.
