Grounds for Second Appeal:
The Appellant filed a Second Appeal u/s 19 of the Act on the ground of unsatisfactory reply furnished by the Respondent. Appellant requested the Commission to direct the CPIO to provide complete information sought for. Submissions made by Appellant and Respondent during Hearing:
The Appellant did not participate in the hearing despite being served the hearing notice.
The Respondent submitted that CBSE is only concerned with conducting examination for class 10thand 12th. She further added that the averred complaint dated 24.07.2020 filed by Nanital Parents Association has been adequately attended to by CBSE, Regional Office, Dehradun, on 05.09.2020. The contents of the same are as under:

At the instance of the Commission whether the above action taken by the CBSE, Regional Office, Dehradun, on 05.09.2020 on the averred complaint dated 24.07.2020 filed by Nanital Parents Association has been communicated to the Appellant, the Respondent replied in negative. A written submission has been received by the Commission from Smt. Nutan Bhalla, Assistant Secretary & PIO, CBSE, vide letter dated 06.07.2022, wherein the Commission has been apprised as under:

Decision:
Upon perusal of the facts on record as well as on the basis of the proceedings during the hearing, the Commission observes that the reply provided by the Respondent vide letter dated 18.11.2020 is not satisfactory as the Appellant is merely seeking action taken on the averred complaint dated 24.07.2020 filed by Nanital Parents Association. Hence, the Commission deems it fit to direct the Respondent to communicate the action taken by the CBSE, Regional Office, Dehradun, on 05.09.2020, to the Appellant, with a copy marked to the Commission, within 7 days from the date of receipt of this order.
With the above observations, the instant Second Appeal is disposed of. Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties. The Appeal, hereby, stands disposed of.
