G.D. Gupta v. Union Of India

By Honble Mr. L.K. Joshi, Vice Chairman (A) The learned counsel for the Respondents has placed before us an order dated 23.04.2010 passed in pursuance of the directions given by this Tribunal in T.A. No.59/2007, non-compliance whereof has been challenged in the C.P., stating therein that the Petitioner had not been found eligible for grant of promotion to the post of UDC in the year 1995 and as per DPC held in the year 1998, he was promoted w.e.f. 28.12.1998, as he had qualified the type test in 1996. There was no DPC held in the years 1996 and 1997. Another corrigendum dated 06.08.2010 has been produced by the learned counsel for the Respondents that the date 9th April, 1996 may be read as 8th April, 1996.

    2. In our view, this is substantive compliance of the directions given by this Tribunal. The C.P. is closed. Notices are discharged. (MRS. MEERA CHHIBBER) (L.K. JOSHI) MEMBER (J) VICE CHAIRMAN (A) /jyoti/
