Revati Mohite Dere, J.:— This application is received through jail. Despite Ms. Sweta Sangtani, having been appointed as amicus curiae to espouse the cause of the applicants, she has not appeared in the matters today as well as on the earlier dates. Hence, Mr. Saeed Moghul is requested to appear as amicus curiae to assist the Court and also to espouse the cause of the applicants. Mr. Saeed Moghul has graciously accepted the request. Office to furnish complete sets of paper-books to the learned amicus curiae forthwith. Learned A.P.P to furnish a copy of the charge-sheet to the learned amicus curiae forthwith.
2. Learned A.P.P to produce the bail orders of the accused who have been enlarged on bail and to take instructions with regard to the stage of the trial in the trial Court.
3. It appears that vide order dated 9th May, 2013 passed by this Court (Croam: Abhay M. Thipsay, J.) in Criminal Bail Application No. 135 of 2013 preferred by the applicant in Bail Application No. 1950 of 2014, this Court had directed the trial Court to expedite the trial and to ensure that the same was completed on or before 25 September, 2013. Learned A.P.P states that till date, not a single witness has been examined in the said case.
4. Report be called for from the learned Sessions Judge, MCOC Court, Thane regarding status of the MCOC Court Case No. 1 of 2008.
5. Registry to communicate the above order to the concerned Court by fax. Report be submitted before the next date.
6. Stand over to 27 April, 2015.
