1. Notification along with its official file noting portion by which institution of Mechanical Engineers (India) Mumbai was given approval for the first time by AICTE.
2. If at any time, the approval by AICTE was withdrawn, a copy of notification and its official file noting portion with page mark.
3. Notification or the basis of which, the approval was again given to IME, Mumbai.
4. Notification and its official file noting portion for consideration of degree course conducted by IME (India) Mumbai, as equivalent to B.E./AMIE.
5. I require all the notifications along with their file and noting portions related with approval to IME and recognition of degree course conducted by IME Mumbai since its inception and status of degree holders from its first batch till date. The PIO replied. I am refer to your application dated 08/09/2008 (received on 15/09/2008) and to inform you that as per record available IME is not approved by AICTE. The First Appellate Authority ordered:- Not replied. Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing: The following were present Appellant: Dr. Prabhajot Kaur Gill, Respondent: Dr. Nirendra Dev PIO The appellant states that the PIO has given information that IME is not approved by AICTE. She wishes to know if it was approved at any time, and subsequently approval may have been withdrawn. The PIO is directed to inform the appellant if IME was ever approved by AICTE. Decision: The Appeal is allowed. The PIO will inform the appellant before 25 February 2009 if IME was ever approved by AICTE. This decision is announced in open chamber.
