ORDER
1. We clarify that the direction given by us in our judgment dated 19.9.1983 will govern all the nominations which may be made hereafter to outside Medical Colleges, irrespective of the academic session to which they are made The latest available merit list will form the basis for nominations to outside medical colleges. In so far as the Petitioners and Appellants before us are concerned, the relevant merit list is the merit list which was prepared for the 1982-83 session. This clarification will apply to all the writ petitions and the appeals disposed of by us by the aforesaid Judgment. This order will form a part of our judgment and will be effective from that date.
