Tex. Occ. Code § 503.301 : OCCUPATIONS CODE — HEALTH PROFESSIONS — REGULATION OF PSYCHOLOGY AND COUNSELING — LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS — LICENSE REQUIREMENTS — License Required

A person may not engage in the practice of professional counseling unless the person is:

(1) licensed under this chapter; or
(2) exempt from this chapter under Subchapter B.
