The 30th June, 2017 No.10-Leg./2017,-The following Act ofthe Legislature of the State of Punjab received the assent of the Governor of Punjab on the 23rd day of June, 2017, is hereby published for general information:

to authorize the payment and appropriation of certain sums from andout of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Punjab, for the services and purposes of the financial year ending on he thirty-first day of March, 2018. BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Sixty cighth Year of the Republic of lndia as follows :
1. This Act may be called the Punjab Appropriation (No.2) Act, 2017.
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Punjab, there may
be paid and applied sums, not exceeding those specified in column 5 of the
Schedule, appended to this Act, amounting in the
aggregate to the sum of
18237,90,36,000/- (One Lac Eighteen Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Seven
Crore Ninety Lac and Thirty Six Thousand only) towards defraying several
charges, which will come in the course of pay1ment tobe made duringthe
financial year 2017-2018, in respect of the servicesand purposes, specified in
column 2 of the said Schedule.
The sums, authorized to be paid and
applied from and out of the
Consolidated Fund of the State of Punjab by this Act, shall be appropriated for
the services and purposes, specified in the
said Schedule in relation to the
Financial Year ending on the thirty-first day of March,
2018.
4. Notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act-for the tine being in force, the provisions of this Act shall prevail.
