THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION
(VOTE ON ACCOUNT) ACT, 1988.

An. Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1989.
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1989;
It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-ninth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Short title. Account) Act, 1988.
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there Issue of may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 Rs. 12,208934,000 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees one out of the thousand two hundred and twenty crores eighty-nine lakhs and thirty- Fun d of ated four thousand towards defraying the several charges which will come in West Bengal course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, for the year 1988-89. 1989, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Approptia- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for tion. the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1989.
