THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (VOTE ON
ACCOUNT) (No. 2) ACT, 1982. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 22nd June, 1982.]

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March,
1983.
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1983;
It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-third Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Short title. Account) (No. 2) Act, 1982.
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of Rs. be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the 14,38,24,91,000 out of the
Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in Consolidated West Ben. column 3 of the Schedule to the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Fund of West Bengal for Act I of Account) Act, 1982] to the sum of rupees fourteen hundred and thirty-eight the year
1982.
crores twenty-four lakhs and ninety-one thousand towards defraying the 1982-83. several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1983, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria-tion. Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1983.
