THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION
ACT, 1984.
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 30th March, 1984.]

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1984. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1984;
It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-fifth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, Short title.
1984.
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of Rs. be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the 6,93,55,93,436 out of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees six hundredand Consoli- ninety-three crores fifty-five lakhs ninety-three thousand four hundred dated Fund of West and thirty-six towards defraying the several charges which will come in Bengal for course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, the year 1983-84. 1984, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the tion. services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1984.
