THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION

ACT, 1985.

[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 31st March, 1985.]

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of cretain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March,

1985.

WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty- first day of March, 1985;

It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-

1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, Short title.

1985.

2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there Issue of may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 Rs. 1059,42,99,546 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees one out of the thousand and fifty-nine crores forty-two lakhs ninety-nine thousand five Consolidated Fund of West hundred and forty-six towards defraying the several charges which will Bengal the come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day year 1984. of March, 1985, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.

3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appro- priation.

Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1985.
