THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION
(VOTE ON ACCOUNT) ACT, 1984.
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Asgent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 28th March, 1984.]

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March,
1985.
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1985;
It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-fifth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Short le. Account) Act, 1984.
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of Rs. be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the 5,56,67,23,000out of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees five hundred and Consoli- fifty-six crores sixty-seven lakhs and twenty-three thousand towards da ed Fund of West defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during Bengal for the year
the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1985, in respect of the 1984-85. services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for tion. the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1985.
