West Bengal Act IX of 1985 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (No. 2)
ACT, 1985.
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 7th May, 1985.] [7th May, 198.5.]
An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March,
1986.
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1986;
It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Short le. Act, 1985.
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there Issue of may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 Rs. 35,76,19, 29,000 out of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums of the West Ben. specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the West Bengal Appropriation Consolidated Act III of Fund of
1985. (Vote on Account) Act, 1985] to the sum of rupees thirty-five hundred West Bengal and seventy-six crores nineteen lakhs and twenty-nine thousand towards for the year 1985-86.
defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1986, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for tion. the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1986.
