No. 248-L.-Sth March, 2019.-The following Act of the West Bengal Legislature, having been assented to by the Governor, is hereby published for general information:-

THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION

(VOTE ON ACCOUNl) ACT, 2019. {Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] (Assent oft he Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Exlroordinary. of the 5th March. 2019.)

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation ofc ertain sums from ando ut oft he Consolidated Fund of West Bengal/or the services and purposes ofa part oft he year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2020.

WHBEAS • it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending oo the thirty-first day of March, 2020; II is hereby enacted in the Seventieth Year of the Republic of India. by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-

Sbort tille. 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 2019.

OUI of lhe and applied swns not exceeding those specified in column 3 oft he Schedule amounting Col\SOlidatcd in the aggregate to the sum of rupees seventy•nine thousand nine hundred crore Fund of West

Bcnpl for the sixty-eight lakh and forty thousand towards defraying the several charges which will year 2019-2020. come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2020, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.

Appropriation. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out oft he Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March. 2020.
