THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION
(VOTE ON ACCOUNT) ACT, 1998.
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 31st March, 1998.] [31st March, 1998.]
An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1999.
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1999;
It is hereby enacted in the Forty-ninth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Short title. Account) Act, 1998.
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of Rs. 6590,51, be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the 02,000 out Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees six thousand of the Consolida-
five hundred ninety crores fifty-one lakhs and two thousand towards ted Fund of defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during West Bengal the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1999, in respect of the for the year 1998-99. services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria-tion. Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1999.
