Technical, Technology. Interfaith Religious Education! Management and:other Allied areas
sponsored jointly by the Nagaland Bptist Church Council (NBCC) and the Council of Baptist
Churches in Northeact India (CI3CNE1) and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
Whereas the establishment of a Private University can be done only through an Act of the State Legislative Assembly as per provisions in the University Grants commission
(Establishment and Maintenance Standards in Private University) Regulation Act, 2003; The First Amendment Act 2020 proposes to dcicte the third par of the Preamble of the Act or mentioned anywhere else which reads as "And WHEREAS, the University sb1I be aUiliatory in nature open to any private institutions and colleges". Asper the UGC Regulation 1A.003 on the "Establishment of and Maintenance of standards in private universities under Section 3.2. states that A private university shall be unitary university" which does not allow a private university to open to other institutions for affiliation.
