to amend the Himatayan Uniy:r:,11, ltanagar (Arunachat pradesh) Act, 2012 - Be ir enacted bytne resisraturJT};ff:i::]esh in the seventy{hird year or theRepublic of lndia as follows : - Short tifle and commencement : (1) This Act may be called the Himalayan University,Itanagar (Arunachal pradesh) (Amendment)Rct, 2022.
(2) lt sha come into force on the date of its publication in the Otficiat Gazette. Amendment ot Section 2: ln the Hirnalayan University, ltanagar, Arunachal pradesh, \ct,2012 (Act No. 6 of 2013) (hereinafter refer*0," r. pri*ip]Le"t), in section 2, afterclause (aa), the following shall be ,nserfed_

(2) Powerof the Msitor: Notwithstanding anything contained in thisAct' the Visitor shall have the following powers namely: -
To call for any paper or information relating to the affairs of the University;
On the basis ol the information received by the Visitor' if he is satisfied tt at any orOer, proceeding ordecision taken byany authority ofthe University
Lnot in confoimity with ihe Act, Regulations or Rutes' he may issue such
directions as he may deem fit in the interest of the University which shall
be binding to all concerned;'
Amendmentof sub'section(4) ofsection11: ln sub-section (4) of section 11 ofthe Act'
the words, "ln absence ofthe visito/', shallbe inserted in the beginning of the sentence
Savings : Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act' anything done or any action taken

the provisions of the Pincipal Act prior to this amendment shall be valid
unless revoked or annulled by the State Government'
