THE SALARIES AND ALLOWANCESOF MINISTERS (MANIPUR)
(THIRTEENTH AMENDMENT)ACT,2020

ACT
further to amend the Salaries and Allowancesofthe Ministers (Manipur) Act, 1972.
Beit enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Seventy- first Year ofthe Republic ofIndia as follows:-
| 1. (1)This Act may be called the Salaries and Allowances Short ite and i of Ministers (Manipur) (Thirteenth A
mendment) Act, 2020. "m™srermsat
(2) It shall come into force from the date ofits publicationin the Official Gazette.
2. In section 3 of the Salaries and Allowances of Amendmentof Ministers (Manipur) Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the **t*"> Principal Act), the following shall be substituted, namely,-"
(a) in sub-section (1)-
(i) in clause (a), for the words and figures
"Rs. 26,000/-", the words and figures
"Rs. 75,000/-" shall be substituted:

(ii) in clause (b), for the words and figures
"Rs. 25,000/-", the words and figures
"Rs.70.000/-" shall be substituted; Gii) in clause (c). for the words and* figures
"Rs. 25,000/-", the words and figures
"Rs. 70,000/-" shall be substituted; and
(iv) in clause (d), for the words and figures
"Rs, 24,000/-", the words and figures
"Rs. 65,000/-"shall be substituted.
(b) in sub-section (2)-
(i) in clause (a), for the words and figures
"Rs. 2,000/-" and "Rs. 3,000/-", the words and figures "Rs. 5,000/-" and "Rs. 6,000/-"
respectively shall be substituted;
i) in clause (b), for the words and figures
"Rs. 1,950/-" and "Rs. 2,900/-", the words and figures "Rs. 4,500/-" and "Rs. 5,000/-"
respectively shall be substituted; (iijin clause (c), for the words and figures
"Rs. 1,930/-" and "Rs. 2,800/-", the words and figures "Rs. 4,000/-" and "Rs. 4,500/-"
respectively shall be substituted. Amesdmentof 3. In section 4 of the Principal Act, for the words and figures "Rs. 24,000/-", "Rs. 23,500/-" and "Rs. 23,100/-", the words and figures "Rs. 65,000/-", "Rs. 60,000/-" and
"Rs, 55,000/-" respectively shall be substituted.

.. Amendment of 4. In section 9 of the Principal Act; for the words "Rupees
"fifteen lakhs", the words "Rupees thirty lakhs" shall be substituted.
