PREAMBLE

An Act to repeal Act II of 1835 so far as it relates to the Provinces of Arracan and Tenasserim.

Whereas the Provinces of Arracan and Tenasserim have been united with the Provinces of Pegu and Martaban in oue genera administration under a Chief Commissioner of British Bitrmah, and it is no longer expedient that the functionaries who are or may he appointed in the said Provinces should be under the control and superintendence of the Court of Sudder Dewanny and Nizamut Adawlut, or of the Board of Revenue; It is enacted as follows:

Section 1. Repeal of Act II of 1835 as regards Arracan and Tenasserim

So much of Act II of 1835 as relates to the said Provinces of Arracan and Tenasserim is hereby repealed: provided that any appeals or other matters relating to the said.

Proviso. Provinces, and now pending before the Court of Sudder Dewanny and Nizamut Adawlut or before the Board of Revenue, shall be heard and determined as if this Act had not been passed.
