ACT
further to amend the U. P. State Legislature (Officers' Salaries and Allowances)
Act, 1952
IT Is HEREBY enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as
follows:
This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (Officers'
Salaries and Allowances) (Amendment) Act, 1970.
In section 5 of the U. P. State Legislature (Officers' Salaries and
Allowances) Act, 1952, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, and in its mar-
ginal heading, for the words "the Speaker and the Chairman" or the words
"Speaker and Chairman," wherever occurring, the words "the Speaker, the
Chairman, the Deputy Speaker and the Deputy Chairman" shall be substituted.
Short title.
Amendment ôt

Section 5-A of the principal Act shall be omitted.
Omission of
