IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of the Rajya Sampatti Vibhag Ke Niyantranadhin Bhawano Ka Avantan (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2020 (Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam Sankhya 2 of 2020) as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented to by the Governor on March 5, 2020.

The Rajya Sampatti Anubhag-2 is administratively concerned with the said Adhiniyam.

3, In the principal Act, in section 2,-

(a) clause (k) shall be omitted;

(b) after clause (0) the foll owing clauses shall be

inserted, namely:-

“(p) ‘Market Rate’ means the rate fixed by the State

Government by

notification from time to time;

(q)*Statutory Commission” means 4 Commission con

stituted by the

6. In section 5 of the principal Act, the following proviso shall be inserted, Amendment of

. “Provided that the allotment of houses to the Non-Government Chairman

or Vice-Chairman or members or advisers, as may be, nominated/appointed in various

Departments, Corporations, undertakings, Councils, Commissions, Institutions of the

State Government shall be made by the Estate Officer with the prior approval of the

Minister of Estate Deparment.”

7. In section 6 of the principal Act, for sub-section (3) the following sub- Amendment of

sections shall be substituted, namely:- section 6

“(3) The allotment of houses to a trust will be made for a maximum period of

five years and the renewal for a further maximum period of five years may be made by

the Estate Department on an application made by the trust.
