NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the provisions of Section 20 read with clause (p) Section 2 of the Micro Small &
Medium Enterprise, Act, 2006 (No.6 of 2006), the Governor is pleased to constitute the "Micro Small &
Medium Enterprise Council" for the State of Tripura with the following as members :-
i. Director, Industries & Commerce, Government of Tripura
ii. General Manger, Lead Bank of Tripura i.e. United Bank
of India
III. A Representative of Federation of Associations of Cottage &
Small Industries (FACSI)
iv. A Representative of Tripura Industrial Entrepreneurs (TIE)
v. A Representative of Tripura Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TCCI)

2. Since the members of Industry Facilitation Council are being nominated by designation, the vacancy that

would arise on account of any member leaving his office would be treated as filled up automatically by his
successor.
3. The powers and functioning of the Council will be governed as per provisions of the Tripura Micro & Small
Enterprises Facilitation Council Rules, 2008 under The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development
Act, 2006 (27 of 2006).
4. The concerned section of the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Govt. of Tripura dealing with MSME
matters will function as Secretariat to the Committee.
