Short title,

further to amend the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 in its application to the State of Assam.
Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Industrial Disputes Act No. Act, 194 7, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, in its application 14 of to the State of Assam, in the manner hereinafter appearing; 1947 lt is hereby enacted in the Sixty-eighth Year of the Republic ofindia as follows :-
1. (1) This Act may be called the Industrial Disputes (Assam Amendment ) Act, 2017.

(2) It extends to the whole of Assam.
(3) It shall come into force at once. Amendment 2. In the principaJ Act, in section 25K, for the words "one hundred", of section 25k appearing in between the words "'than" and "workmen", the words "three hundred" shall be substituted.
