to repeal the Manipur Parliamentary Secretary (Appointment, Salary land Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2012 (ManipurAct No. 10 of2012).
Whereas,it is expedientto repeal the Manipur Parliamentary Secretary(Appointment, SalaryandAllowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2012 in lightofthe ruling ofthe Hon'ble Supreme Court ofIndia in Transfer Case (Civil) No. 169 of2006 (Bimolangsu Roy (Dead) through LRsVs.State ofAssam & Another), and in the processofbeingaresponsible Government which upholdsthe Rule ofLaw.
BEit enacted by the Legislature ofManipur in the Sixty-ninthYear ofthe RepublicofIndiaas follows:
1. (1) ThisAct maybecalled the Manipur Parliamentary Secretary Short title and
(Appointment, Salary and Allowances and Miscella neous commencement.
Provisions) RepealingAct, 2018.
(2) It shall comeinto force with immediateeffect. $$

Manipur Act 2. (1) The ManipurParliamentarySecretary (Appointment,Salaryand No. 10 of 2012 Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2012 is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the Manipur Parliamentary Secretary (Appointment,. Salary and Allowances and MiscellaneousProvisions) Act, 2012,the repeal shallnot affect -
(a) the previousoperations ofthe repealedAct or anything duly donein pursuance ofthe Actso repealed including anything donein official dischargeoftheir dutiesbythe Parliamentary Secretaries; or
(b) any right, privilegeor obligation incurred under the repealed Act.
