(1) This Act may be: callert the Manipil'r. Land Laws (Amendment and Validatié'n. of Préceei'lings) "Act, 1976".
(2) Th1s' Act shall Come 1n'té force at once.
2. In section I- of the Mzmipu'r Land Revenue &Land Reforms - (second Amendment) Act, 1976, for the subsection (2) thereof, the following. s'haiL be substituted, nameiy,—-

3. Notwithstanding anything contained in any jaw or in ahy judgment, decree or order of any Court,—
(i) no appointment, conferment or delegation of power before

Notwithstanding anything contained in section 94' of the the commencement of this Act, otherwise than in accordance with theproyisions y-of' the Manipur'Land Revenue & Land _Reforms Act, 1960, shall be deemed to be i'llegalnr void 'or ever to have' become 'illegal or V'oid' by reasons only of the fact that such appointment, conferment or delegation of power was not made in accordance With the provisions of the said Act; and~
no jurisdiction exercised, no order passed or made ~and; no other act or proceeding done or taken, before the" cormnence- ment of this Act, by or before such person appointed or to whom any pow'er'had been Conferred or delegated otherwise than in accordance with the provisions of the Manipur Land Revenue & Land Reforms Act, 1960, "shall be deemed to be illegal or invalid or over to have'become illegal or invalid by reasons only of the fact that such appointment; conferment Or delegation 0): POWer was not made in accordance with the provisions of the said Act. u,' A

Manipur Land Revenue & Land Reforms Act, 1960, for ,the purpose of appeal from any order passed or issued by any officer or oflicers Whose acts or orders are hereby validated, the period from the date of passing such order till this Act comes into force, shall be excluded from computation of the period during which the appeal may be filed.
5. (1) The Manipur Land Revenue & Land Reforms (Misc. Amendment) Ordinance, 1976 (No. 1 of 1976) and Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms (Validation of Proceedings) Ordinance, 1976 (No. 3 of 1976) shall stand repealed on the day this Act comes into force.
