" oL Date of Publication 13 THE SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES OF THE VICE-CHAIRMAN OF THE STATE PLANNING COMMITTEE (MANIPUR) SECOND AMENDMENT AND VALIDA,TIONB-I-L-E, 1996, St~ AN BHF—A A~ further to amend the Salaries and Allowances of the Vice-Chairman of the State Planning Committee (Manipur) Act, 1972 (Manipur Act No. 10 of 1972). Be it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Forty-seventh year of the Republic of India as follows: 1. Short title and commencement—(1) This Act-may be called the Salaries, and Allowances of the Vice-Chairman of the State Planning Committee (Matipur) Second Amendment Act, 1996, (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Substitution of Vice-Chairman and Committee—For the words “Vice.- Chairman™ and “Committee” in the long title and wherever they occurred in the Salaries and Allowances of the Vice-Chajrman of the State Planning Committee (Manipur) Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the Act), the words “Deputy Chairman” and “Board” respectively shall be substituted, 3. Validation~—Notwithstanding anything contained in the Act, the appointment of any person as the Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board or anything done Or any action taken, before the commencement "of this Act, shall be deemed to have been appointed or done or taken under this Act.

Repeal and savings—(1) The Salaries and allowances of the Vice— Chairman of the State Planning Committee (Mam’pur) Second Amendment and - validation Ordinance, 1996 (Manipur Ordinance No.2 of 1996) is hereby repealed.. 2 Notwithstanding such repeal, anything dome OT any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been dome Or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
