2. In section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (Members' Emolu-
ments and Pension) Act, 1980, hereinafter-referred to as the principal Act, in sub-
section (1), for the words "five hundred rupees" the words "eight-hundred and
fifty rupees" shall be substituted.
3. In section 4 of the principal Act, for the words "One thousand and six
hundred rupees" the words “two thousand and six hundred rupees" shall be
substituted.
4. In section 5 of the principal Act,—
for the words "twenty five thousand rupees" the words "thirty five
thousand rupees" shall be substituted and be deemed to have been substi-
tuted with effect from June 1, 1986 ;
the following proviso to the section, so amended, shall be inserted,
namely—
"Provided that out of the railwamoupons to be supplied under this
section to a member, he shall at his option, be supplied, instead of
such value of railway coupons as he may desire, cowpons of equal
value for traVel by air at any time within or outside Uttar Pradesh
in accordance with such principles as may be prescribed."
5. In section 15 of the principal Act, for the words "sixty rupees"the words
"eighty-five rupees" shall be substituted..
6. In section 18-A of the principal Act, in clause (a), for the words "rupees
four hundred" the words “rupees six hundred" shall be substituted.
