Emolumnts and Pension) Act, 1980.
IT is BEREBy enacted in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as
follows:- . • I:1 -.
I. This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh State Legislatute
(Members' Emoluments and Pension) (Amendment) Act, 2000.
In section 2 of the utter Pradesh State Legislature (Members'
Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1980, hereinafter referred to as the
principal Act, in clause. (g) for the words "first class", the words "air-
conditioned two-tier" shall be substituted.
In section 5 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), in the second
proviso, for the words "first class", the wards "air-conditioned two-tier"
shall be substituted.
- 4. In section 17-A of the principal Act, the following proviso shall -be
inserted, . _ •
"Provided that if the advance granted to any such member for one
-purpose and the interest due thereon has been repaid, the member may be
granted advance for the other purpose?'
