IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of the Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidhan mandal (Sadasycm Ki (Jplabdhi yan Aur Pension) (Dwitlya Sanshodhan) Adhlniyam, 2000 (Uttar Pradesh Adhinlyam Sankhya 27 of 2000 as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented to by the Governor on May 22, 2000.

AN ACT

further to amend the Uttar Pradesh State Legistature (Members" Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1980. • - • IT IS Mai, enacted in the Fifty-first year of:the ReruMic of India as. follows:— - •

1, (1) This Act may be called. the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature • (Members' Emoluments and Pension) (Second Amendn-,ent) Act, 2C00.

(2) It shall come into force on june.120C0. 1

2. In section 5 of the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (mertibers' Emolutuents and Pension) Act, 19E0, in sub-section (0, for the first proviso, the following proliso sha ll.be ni b:Yalta( d, namely:—

“Provided. that out of the railway coupons .to be supplied under- this section to a member, he shall at his option,_

(a) be supplied coupons of equal value for travel by air at any. time within or outside Uttar Pradesh; andM •

.(b) .be paid'an amount ,in cash not exceeding three thousand ' rupees per month for petrol or diesel for his own vehicle;

instead of such value of railway coupons as he may desire, in such manner as may be prescribed.”.
