by the President on May 12, 1981 :

further to amend. the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 in its application. to
Uttar Pradesh
IT HEREBY enacted. in the Thirty-second Year of the Republic of
as 'follows :-
1. (1) This Act may be called the
Pradesh. Amendment) Act,- 198.1.
(2) . It.shall- extend to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.

Amendment of 2.• In section 139 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, for clauses (b) andl
